Kaisersesch, April 3, 2023. The CLASSEN Group announces the upcoming launch of its latest CERAMIN product line, Nuva. Nuva offers customers a comprehensive solution for PVC-free flooring that supports both click-lock and adhesive installation and meets high quality standards. The CERAMIN material, developed by the CLASSEN Group, is already well-known on the market for its specific product properties. CERAMIN is free of PVC, plasticizers, or other stabilizers. In addition, it is suitable for recycling, is extremely dimensionally stable, and promotes a comfortable indoor climate.
CERAMIN is a completely PVC-free flooring made from recycled and recyclable polypropylene (PP). The use of safe raw materials and energy-efficient production reduce its environmental footprint. The CLASSEN Group has been manufacturing CERAMIN in Germany for over ten years and has consistently championed environmentally friendly innovations in the flooring industry. In addition to Cradle to Cradle certification, CERAMIN holds other environmental and quality certifications, such as the “Blue Angel” eco-label.
With a total of 59 designs, Nuva offers an impressive variety of options. All designs are available in the adhesive version, while 41 of them are also available in the click version. The designs are divided into five subcollections, which offer customers a range of qualities and dimensions to meet the diverse needs and requirements of a wide variety of applications. All subcollections feature 4-sided bevels, typically with a bevel in the wear layer, which allows the color and design of the plank to show through the bevel and eliminates the need for additional finishing. In addition to design flexibility, Nuva also offers flexibility in application—ranging from Use Class 32 (Nuva Essential) to industrial applications with Class 42 (Dryback products).

The official launch of Nuva is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024. For the launch, the in-house marketing team has developed a comprehensive concept for retailers that includes a wide range of marketing materials for sample displays. This enables CLASSEN dealers to effectively showcase the benefits and diversity of the Nuva product line and offer their customers an exceptional shopping experience.

In addition to the launch of Nuva, the CLASSEN Group recently published its first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The results of the EPD confirm that the CLASSEN Group’s products in the commercial and project sectors meet the stated performance values. By developing advanced production processes and selecting suitable materials—such as the use of secondary raw materials—the company minimizes its environmental impact and actively contributes to environmental protection.

“The launch of Nuva marks a significant milestone for the CLASSEN Group and our goal of offering innovative, high-quality flooring,” commented Patrick Pohl, Head of Product Management at the CLASSEN Group. “We are proud that Nuva not only offers aesthetically appealing options but is also focused on specific product characteristics. We look forward to sharing the benefits of Nuva with our customers and thereby enriching their living and working environments.”
