HOW TO PROPERLY CLEAN CERAMIN

HOW TO PROPERLY CLEAN CERAMIN

CERAMIN flooring is particularly easy to maintain and durable. To keep your floor looking beautiful and maintaining its properties for a long time, all you need is simple, regular cleaning—no special cleaning products required. Cleaning with a steam cleaner can damage the surface and is therefore not recommended.

Benefits of Ceramin

Does not require any additional sealing or protective coating

Preventive Measures

·
Use doormats in the entryway to trap dirt and moisture.
·
Fit chair and furniture legs with soft felt glides or Type W casters.
·
Avoid prolonged contact with rubber (e.g., carpet pads) or substances that can stain (e.g., hair dye, disinfectants), as this can cause discoloration.
·
For bathroom floors: Wipe up puddles or standing water immediately—although CERAMIN is moisture-resistant, grout lines and room edges should remain dry.

Regular Cleaning

·
For daily cleaning, a dry mop, dust cloth, or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment is sufficient.
·
If necessary, wipe with a slightly damp cloth—ideally using a neutral all-purpose cleaner or a pH-neutral everyday cleaner.
·
Make sure no standing water remains on the floor—although CERAMIN is waterproof, you should still avoid letting puddles form for extended periods.
·
For heavier soiling, apply undiluted cleaner to the affected area using a soft pad. Then wipe with clean water.

Stains & Specialized Cleaning

·
Heel marks, grease, or residue can be removed with a soft, non-abrasive cleaning pad and a little detergent.
·
Do not use harsh cleaning agents (such as products containing chlorine or ammonia) on stubborn stains—they can damage the surface.
·
Waxes, polishes, or care products that leave a film are not necessary and should be avoided.
