“For us, sustainability means not only responsibility but also future viability. With this new report, we are making it clear that we do not view environmental, social, and economic aspects in isolation, but as a whole. We want to provide our stakeholders with transparent information while demonstrating that we are consistently continuing on our path of transformation,” says Julie Quervel, Managing Director of CLASSEN Holz Kontor GmbH her role as Sustainability Officer for the CLASSEN Group.
The 2024 Sustainability Report highlights, among other things, progress made in developing more energy-efficient production methods, further optimizing the use of sustainable materials, and creating products that promote healthy living. By adopting the ESRS at an early stage, CLASSEN is also laying the groundwork for upcoming regulatory requirements under the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
