The new performance shirts were presented to the club on November 11, 2025, during an official handover ceremony at the showroom at the main location in Kaisersesch. Board member Johannes Kirsch accepted the gear on behalf of the JFV. The modern performance shirts are intended to outfit several youth teams, thereby providing long-term support for the club’s important youth development efforts. For young players in particular, high-quality gear is an essential part of taking the field with motivation and pride.
Johannes Kirsch, a member of the board of JFV Schieferland, expressed his gratitude for the continued support during the handover ceremony:
“The partnership with CLASSEN is of great value to us. It shows that the promotion of youth soccer in our region is taken seriously. The new performance jerseys give our young players a uniform, professional look—and that boosts motivation, team spirit, and a sense of belonging. We are very grateful for this reliable partnership.”
For many years, JFV Schieferland has been committed to the athletic and personal development of young people in the region. Sponsorship initiatives like this play a key role in ensuring that training and games can be held at a high level. Thanks to the support of companies like CLASSEN, the club can continue to expand its youth development programs and offer young players the best possible conditions.
In addition to its involvement in youth soccer, the CLASSEN Group supports the development of young people within its own company. Through a range of apprenticeships, dual degree programs, and various entry-level opportunities, CLASSEN offers teenagers and young adults pathways into the workforce. Modern workspaces and continuing education opportunities round out the offerings. The hands-on training provides the knowledge and experience needed for future professional roles.
As a leading German manufacturer of wall and floor coverings, this family-owned company is known for its technological leadership and commitment to sustainability. Under the motto “Feel Good Floors,” the approximately 2,000 employees of the CLASSEN Group work across the entire value chain to further develop products, materials, and production processes. Their focus includes, among other things, the use of recycled materials, the products’ service life, and their recyclability.
CLASSEN does not use chlorine, PVC, or plasticizers in its wall and floor coverings. With numerous patents—which are also available to the industry through licensing agreements—the company develops its own material and production concepts. With CERAMIN®, CLASSEN has developed a material that consists largely of recycled plastics and is recyclable. The material’s design also took into account its return to recycling loops.
The family-owned company, founded in 1962 by Dr. Hans-Jürgen Hannig, is currently managed by three generations, including the founder himself.
