As part of the company's founding, an e-commerce department was also established. It serves as a center of expertise within CLASSEN Online GmbH and brings together areas such as content, product presentation, online marketing, and digital sales strategies.

With CERAMIN®, CLASSEN has developed a material that consists largely of recycled plastics. The development process also took into account the material’s subsequent return to recycling loops. In this way, CLASSEN creates the conditions for the continued use of existing materials and their return to material cycles.

The family-owned business, founded in 1962 by Dr. Hans-Jürgen Hannig, is currently managed by three generations, including the founder himself.
