Kaisersesch, April 3, 2023. The CLASSEN announces the upcoming launch of its latest CERAMIN, Nuva. Nuva offers customers a comprehensive solution for PVC-free flooring that supports both click and adhesive installation methods and meets the highest quality standards. The CERAMIN material developed by the CLASSEN CERAMIN already well-known on the market for its exceptional environmental and health-friendly properties. CERAMIN free of PVC, plasticizers, or other stabilizers. In addition, it is 100% recyclable, extremely dimensionally stable, and contributes to a healthy indoor climate.
CERAMIN a completely PVC-free flooring made from recycled and recyclable polypropylene (PP). The use of safe raw materials and energy-efficient production reduce its environmental footprint. The CLASSEN Group CERAMIN manufacturing CERAMIN in Germany for over ten years and has consistently championed eco-friendly innovations in the flooring industry. In addition to Cradle to Cradle certification, CERAMIN holds CERAMIN environmental and quality certifications, such as the “Blue Angel” eco-label.
With a total of 59 designs, Nuva offers an impressive variety of options. All designs are available in the adhesive version, while 41 of them are also available in the click version. The designs are divided into five subcollections, which offer customers a range of qualities and dimensions to meet the diverse needs and requirements of various applications. All subcollections feature 4-sided bevels, typically with a bevel in the wear layer, which makes the color and design of the plank visible in the bevel and eliminates the need for additional finishing. In addition to design flexibility, Nuva also offers flexibility in application—ranging from use class 32 (Nuva Essential) to industrial applications with class 42 (Dryback products).

The official launch of Nuva is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024. For the launch, the in-house marketing team has developed a comprehensive concept for retailers that includes a wide range of marketing materials for sampling. This enables CLASSEN to effectively showcase the benefits and diversity of the Nuva range and offer their customers an exceptional shopping experience.

In addition to the launch of Nuva, the CLASSEN recently published its first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). The results of the EPD confirm that the CLASSEN products deliver outstanding performance in the commercial and project sectors. By developing advanced production processes and selecting sustainable materials—such as the use of secondary raw materials—the company minimizes its environmental impact and actively contributes to environmental protection.

“The launch of Nuva marks a significant milestone for the CLASSEN and our ongoing mission to offer innovative, high-quality flooring,” commented Patrick Pohl, Head of Product Management at the CLASSEN. “We are proud that Nuva not only offers aesthetically appealing options but is also environmentally friendly and promotes healthy living. We look forward to sharing the benefits of Nuva with our customers and thereby enriching their living and working environments.”
