In doing so, the CLASSEN is not only responding to the growing demand for eco-friendly products but also highlighting the company’s long-standing sustainability philosophy, which has been upheld across generations.

To better coordinate the individual initiatives previously undertaken by various divisions, the company is now establishing a dedicated sustainability department to clearly define, consistently pursue, and effectively implement its sustainability goals. Sebastian Wendel will head this department; he has been a key contributor to the company’s sustainable direction for many years and continues to develop it further. He will be supported by Julie Quervel, granddaughter of the company’s founder, who will assume responsibility for monitoring and maintaining sustainability metrics in her role in Controlling. Her contribution ensures that the CLASSEN not only achieves its sustainability goals but also continues to act as an industry pioneer in this important area.
