Published onSeptember 17, 2025

Kaisersesch/Baruth, September 16, 2025 – The CLASSEN has published its 2024 Sustainability Report. The report provides a comprehensive overview of the company’s progress in the areas of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. Already this year, CLASSEN has taken into account and integrated CLASSEN elements of the new European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)—another step toward even greater transparency and comparability.

“For us, sustainability means not only responsibility but also future viability. With this new report, we are making it clear that we do not view environmental, social, and economic aspects in isolation, but as a whole. “We want to provide our stakeholders with transparent information while demonstrating that we are consistently continuing on our path of transformation,” says Julie Quervel, Managing Director of CLASSEN Kontor GmbH, in her role as Sustainability Officer for the CLASSEN.

The 2024 Sustainability Report highlights, among other things, progress made in adopting more energy-efficient production methods, further optimizing the use of sustainable materials, and developing products that promote healthy living. By aligning itself with the ESRS at an early stage, CLASSEN is CLASSEN laying the groundwork for upcoming regulatory requirements under the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
