Kaisersesch, November 28, 2024 – The CLASSEN has received the coveted Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label for CERAMIN®. This award recognizes CERAMIN one of the most efficient and sustainable solutions for the construction and renovation industry.
CERAMIN a completely PVC-free flooring made from recycled and recyclable polypropylene (PP). The use of safe raw materials and energy-efficient production reduce its environmental footprint. The CLASSEN Group CERAMIN manufacturing CERAMIN in Germany for over ten years and has consistently championed eco-friendly innovations in the flooring industry. In addition to Cradle to Cradle certification, CERAMIN holds CERAMIN environmental and quality certifications, such as the “Blue Angel” eco-label.
Kaisersesch, February 7, 2024 – The CLASSEN, a renowned manufacturer of laminate flooring and PVC-free, recyclable polymer flooring, is pleased to announce the publication of the CERAMIN (EPD).
The EPD, with its quantitative statements on the environmental performance of construction products, is aimed at a wide range of stakeholders involved in manufacturing and services across the value chain—from raw materials to the finished building.

Ceramin not only meet expectations for quality and aesthetics but also set a new standard in terms of environmental responsibility. Customers can rest assured that with CERAMIN , they are CERAMIN only purchasing a high-quality flooring product but also contributing to environmental protection. Particularly noteworthy are the impressive results achieved by CERAMIN its PVC-free composition and the use of recycled materials. The use of recycled materials in production is a key factor contributing to this positive outcome.

With CERAMIN , CLASSEN CERAMIN developed CLASSEN material that consists largely of recycled plastics and is 100 percent recyclable. For its healthy-living CERAMIN and floor coverings, CLASSEN avoids the use of chlorine, PVC, and plasticizers, relying instead on the plastic polypropylene (PP).
