1962

The Founding

Dr. Hans-Jürgen Hannigfounded his first company in the building materials trade. The foundation for CLASSEN laid—withentrepreneurial pioneering spiritandforesight.

1994

The start of production

An important step: The companies, which previously operated independently, are becoming part of the CLASSEN Group . At the same time, the in-house production of laminate flooring at the Kaisersesch.

2001

Grand Opening in Baruth

The CLASSEN GmbH is taking over Baruth begins operations—today one of the largest integrated laminate plants in the worldState-of-the-art technology meets efficient processes.

2006

Innovation with a Systematic Approach

With “MEGALOC” , CLASSEN  a patented quick-installation system to the market—a milestone for the industry and a real added value for everyday in everyday use.

2007

In-house HDF production

Production of our own HDF panels. This creates a fully integrated production site —from wood processing to the finished laminate flooring.

Leading the Way in Digital

As a pioneer , CLASSEN utilizes large-scaleindustrial digital printing—formore flexible design,faster production processes, and unique designs.

CERAMIN

In Kaisersesch production begins polymer-based flooring madefrom polypropylene:PVC-free,recyclable, andhealthy for the home—analternative with a bright future.

Blue Angel certification for all products

CLASSEN the world's first providerwhose entire polymer-based product range has been awarded the“Blue Angel” eco-label.

Water Resistance Reimagined
