HOW TO CLEAN CERAMIN

HOW TO CLEAN CERAMIN

CERAMIN is exceptionally easy to maintain, durable, and healthy for your home. To keep your floor looking beautiful and maintaining its properties for years to come, all it takes is simple, regular cleaning—no special care products or chemical additives required. Cleaning with a steam cleaner can actually damage the surface.

Benefits of Ceramin

Does not require any additional sealing or protective coating

Preventive measures

Find the perfect product for your needs! Our product guide will help you make the right choice—quickly and easily. Click here for more information.

·
Use entrance mats in the entryway to trap dirt and moisture.
·
Fit chair and furniture legs with soft felt glides or Type W casters.
·
Avoid prolonged contact with rubber (e.g., carpet pads) or staining substances (e.g., hair dye, disinfectants), as this can cause discoloration.
·
For bathroom floors: Immediately mop up any puddles or standing water—while CERAMIN moisture-resistant, grout lines and room edges should remain dry.

Regular cleaning

·
For daily cleaning, a dry mop, dust cloth, or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment is sufficient.
·
If necessary, wipe with a slightly damp cloth—ideally using a neutral all-purpose cleaner or a pH-neutral household cleaner.
·
Make sure no standing water remains on the floor—while CERAMIN water-resistant, you should still avoid letting puddles form.
·
For tougher stains, apply undiluted cleaner to the affected area using a soft pad. Then wipe with clean water.

Stains & Specialized Cleaning

·
Heel marks, grease, or residue can be removed with a soft, non-abrasive cleaning pad and a little detergent.
·
Do not use harsh cleaning agents (such as products containing chlorine or ammonia) on stubborn stains—these can damage the surface.
·
Waxes, polishes, or care products that leave a film are unnecessary and should be avoided.
