On January 11, 2024, at DOMOTEX, the material CERAMIN received the Green Collection Award for its outstanding contribution to sustainability and the circular economy in the flooring industry. The leading flooring trade fair in Hanover recognized innovative and inspiring achievements by companies in the field of environmental protection for the second time.

An international jury of renowned experts, led by Dr. phil. Jacqueline Lemm, director of the Institute for Soil Systems in Aachen, selected the winners from over 70 different submissions. The specially developed, PVC-free material CERAMIN stood out for its forward-looking technology and recyclability: “CERAMIN from CLASSEN is an innovative combination of natural minerals and polypropylene that results in a durable and high-performance product, the quality of which also impressed the jury.” At the awards ceremony, Lemm emphasized the high quality of the submissions and the progress made by many companies in the industry. This makes winning an award in this demanding competition all the more significant.

The product is made from recycled materials and is therefore 100 percent recyclable.
