In doing so, the CLASSEN Group is not only responding to the growing demand for eco-friendly products but also highlighting the company’s long-standing sustainability philosophy, which has been upheld for generations.

To better coordinate the individual initiatives that have been undertaken to date across various divisions, the company is now establishing its own sustainability department to clearly define, consistently pursue, and effectively implement its sustainability goals. Sebastian Wendel will head this department; he has been playing a key role in shaping the company’s sustainability strategy for many years and continues to develop it further. He will be supported by Julie Quervel, the granddaughter of the company’s founder, who will assume responsibility for monitoring and maintaining sustainability metrics in her role in corporate planning and controlling.
